What makes a good writer? Grammar? Content? The myriad of
ways one can string words together that paints a perfect picture inside your
head? It’s a subjective practice,
writing. The picture in my head,
probably doesn't look like the picture in your head. A good writer is only as
good as their reader, and let me tell you, based on the fact that I find people
to be a difficult task, a truly magnificent writer most likely does not have a
very big audience any way. So really,
there is no need to beat yourself up because you are a terrible writer,
apparently, the majority of the population aren't even smart enough to
understand what you are saying anyway.
I am kind of tired of making sure that everyone’s feelings don't get hurt. It’s exhausting. Stop being offended by every. single. word. that comes out of someone's mouth. Stop judging people, who are you to criticize? Honestly, I didn't ask for your advice. Don't get angry when I don't take it.

I believe:
That people should go to pre-marriage counseling before they get married.
That a wedding does not equal marriage and people should know that.
When you have children, you are committed to putting yourself second.
Men should lay off the porn, sheesh.
"I can fly...I believe I can touch the sky...."
A sixteen year old should not be pregnant.
The schools should leave moral education up to the parents.
Everyone should grow a garden. Fresh basil is awesome.
My daughter is the smartest girl in the whole wide world.
The majority of our population is too dependant on our government to make decisions.
More people should be involved in their own lives.

The American and the Japanese corporate offices for a large multi-national corporation decided to engage in a competitive boat race. Both teams practiced hard and long to reach their peak performance.
On the big day they felt ready. The Japanese team won by a mile. Afterward, the American team was discouraged by the loss. Morale sagged. Corporate management decided that the reason for the crushing defeat had to be found, so a consulting firm was hired to investigate the problem and recommended corrective action.
The consultant's finding: The Japanese team had eight people rowing and one person steering; the American team had one person rowing and eight people steering.
After a year of study and millions spent analyzing the problem, the firm concluded that too many people were steering and not enough were rowing on the American team.
So, as race day neared again the following year, the American team's management structure was completely reorganized. The new structure: four steering managers, three area steering managers and a new performance review system for the person rowing the boat to provide work incentive.
The next year, the Japanese won by two miles. Humiliated, the American office laid-off the rower for poor performance and gave the managers a bonus for discovering the problem.

I read an article wherein in was stated that Mormons are not Christians, that they are a cult. I thought to myself, that's odd, and makes zero sense. How did this make it in to a news publication? I thought the media was supposed to report facts and not biased opinion.
I am not a member of the LDS Church, however, I have spent a great deal of time reading the doctrine. Like, a really lot of time. I have spent a great deal more time reading the doctrine of many faiths. I suppose you could call me a student of theology. As they used to say on the late, great show, "Pushing Daisies" (RIP), "The facts are these". the basis of the LDS religion is faith in Christ, the basis of the faith is the Old and New Testament. These two facts alone validate the LDS worshipper as Christian. Religion is, and will always be a battleground of opinion, and sometimes misunderstanding, but before you buy-in to what any media outlet has to say, or any one individual for that matter, it would be extremely beneficial to at least educate yourself on the facts than to "take it from the horse's mouth". Also, by definition, ALL religious organizations are cults. Look it up.
.
If you don't feel like moseying on over to the Internets and seeing for yourself, at the very least, let me leave you with this:
13 Articles of Faith
1.
We believe in God, the Eternal Father, and in His Son, Jesus Christ, and in the Holy Ghost.
2.
We believe that men will be punished for their own sins, and not for Adam’s transgression.
3.
We believe that through the Atonement of Christ, all mankind may be saved, by obedience to the laws and ordinances of the Gospel.
4.
We believe that the first principles and ordinances of the Gospel are: first, Faith in the Lord Jesus Christ; second, Repentance; third, Baptism by immersion for the remission of sins; fourth, Laying on of hands for the gift of the Holy Ghost.
5.
We believe that a man must be called of God, by prophecy, and by the laying on of hands by those who are in authority, to preach the Gospel and administer in the ordinances thereof.
6.
We believe in the same organization that existed in the Primitive Church, namely, apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers, evangelists, and so forth.
7.
We believe in the gift of tongues, prophecy, revelation, visions, healing, interpretation of tongues, and so forth.
8.
We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly; we also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God.
9.
We believe all that God has revealed, all that He does now reveal, and we believe that He will yet reveal many great and important things pertaining to the Kingdom of God.
10.
We believe in the literal gathering of Israel and in the restoration of the Ten Tribes; that Zion (the New Jerusalem) will be built upon the American continent; that Christ will reign personally upon the earth; and, that the earth will be renewed and receive its paradisiacal glory.
11.
We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may.
12.
We believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, and magistrates, in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law.
13.
We believe in being honest, true, chaste, benevolent, virtuous, and in doing good to all men; indeed, we may say that we follow the admonition of Paul-We believe all things, we hope all things, we have endured many things, and hope to be able to endure all things. If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.
It seems to me that people have a hard time with the color green. I thought I could help, make things easier for those of you who are green challenged.
Any green with brown or neon undertones, don't.
I'm done.
