Republican or Democrat - You Choose
I’m driving down the road today on the way to work and in front of me are two vehicles each sporting a political affiliation sticker touting their support for opposite sides. I chuckle at the very sight of this, but really begin to take interest when I see that car A would really like to be where car B is. Unable to either speed up or slow down, A is becoming increasingly more agitated at B, who is just blissfully going down the road next to A. Car B is not in a hurry, and does not seem to care that A has issues. Being the pacifist I am (hardy har har) I slow down so that A can maneuver in behind B, thereby satisfying his need to be in that lane. No sooner does A move into my lane, than B moves over into the lane previously occupied by A. Car A is HOT I tell you. HOT! I can see him, arms in the air, yelling, obscenities I am sure, at B. Who by the way, is still very unaware of what has transpired.
What I found most interesting about this scenario is this: Both cars were headed in the same direction, trying to accomplish the same thing, but were unable to do so because they were in each other’s way.
