Sound the sirens, the Weather Channel is reporting a Polar Invasion in the Northeast, you know, the portion of the United States where massive snow fall and wind chill may come as a surprise in the month of November. What does one do to prepare for such an act of war from Mother Nature?  I am no expert, but personally, in the face of danger such as this, I stock up on cold weather supplies, food, water, candles, some type of non-electric heat source, canned beans, I sure do like my canned beans during moments of a snowpocalypse.  

The Weather Channel has also just informed me that cities are facing a shortage of salt supplies. Roads may be impassable, you may not be able to go to work, businesses will falter, no consumer spending will happen today! Families may need to resort to card playing or reading. Oh, the humanity!  Snopocalypse is real, it's happening, don't worry, the Weather Channel will be there 24 hours a day, to update you with statistics and data, providing you with everything you need to know in order to survive this weather event, to give the "all clear" once mother nature has retreated, and retreat she will, no one treats American this way, especially Canada.
