Today is the day we honor our vets. Those who willingly volunteered themselves and those who were drafted in to service by our government during times of war, those who died long ago in battle, those who populate various posts around the world, and those who man our shores to protect us on our home soil. You are overworked and under-appreciated, but you serve with honor, integrity and pride. I would like to personally thank you for all the things you have done and still do for this country so that I can live in comfort, safety and peace, speak my mind when I like and generally carry on with my first world problems on a daily basis.

I would also like to personally thank Dan who served 20 years in our military. Dan will never look upon his service as a sacrifice, always as his duty.
